Spotted

spotted.live

Spotted is a fan-made live map of where K-pop and pop artists have been, where they are now, and where they are headed next.

One map, the whole trail

Past stops are joined by a solid line, upcoming dates by a dotted one. The most recent sighting shows up as a live pulse.

Mostly checked by a person

News and fan reports are mostly checked one by one before they reach the map. Dates announced by ticket sellers and airport sightings can go up automatically once they pass our checks.

Safety comes first

Sightings at airports or on the street are never stored as exact coordinates, only as an approximate area. Private places such as homes are never published.

Artists can opt out

If an artist or their agency asks, we stop collecting their information and take it off the map.

What we ask for when you sign in

You do not need an account to browse the map. An account is only required to follow artists, receive alerts, or submit a sighting.

When you sign in with Google we receive only your email address and basic profile info (name and picture). We use them to create your account, send your sign-in links, and, only if you opt in, email you about the artists you follow.

We never request any other Google data such as contacts, calendar, or files, and we never write or post anything to your Google account.

Frequently asked questions

What is Spotted?

Spotted is a fan-made live map showing where K-pop and pop artists have been and where they are headed. Airport sightings, concerts and tour dates, all in one place.

Where does the information come from?

From three places: published news articles, dates announced by ticket sellers, and fan reports. Most of it is checked by a person before it goes on the map.

Does Spotted track artists in real time?

No. Spotted only collects news that is already public, and does not follow anyone in real time. The time on a pin is the time the report described.

How precise are the locations?

Official ticketed events, and artists attending a show or game at a public venue, are shown at the venue itself. Sightings at airports or on the street, where a fan happened to run into an artist, are never stored as exact coordinates: only an approximate location about 1 km across.

Do artists under 19 appear on the map?

No. Artists under 19 are kept off the map entirely, public events included.

Is Spotted free?

Yes. Everything is free and there are no ads. Spotted runs on fan support.

Can an artist or their agency have this removed?

Yes. Ask through the contact page and we stop collecting that artist entirely and take them off the map.

Is Spotted official?

No. Spotted is an unofficial fan project and is not affiliated with any artist or agency.

Spotted is an unofficial, fan-made service. It is not affiliated with any artist or agency.
