Location Terms

1. Location information we handle

The Service handles two kinds of location information.

  • Artist trails: an artist's location, drawn from news reports, concert dates on sale, and user reports. Anything outside an official event is stored and shown only as an approximate area (about 1 km), never as exact coordinates. We publish no trail information for artists under 19.
  • Your own location: with your browser's permission, “Nearby” uses it on your device only and never sends it to our servers. The neighborhood for alerts is a spot you pick on the map yourself, stored only to about 1 km. Your location is never shown to other users or on shared cards.

2. Why we use it

To show artist trails on the map and, if you set it up, to alert you to sightings near you.

3. Retention and destruction

You can delete the location used for your alerts at any time from Settings, and it is destroyed as soon as you close your account.

4. Location information officer

  • Officer: 한욱진 (가바주식회사)
  • Phone: 0507-1364-6608
  • Business registration no.: 671-81-01305

We do not collect location through positioning equipment such as cell towers, GPS, or Wi-Fi. Artist trails are built only from news reports, concert dates, and user reports, and for your own location we store only the spot you picked on the map. This therefore falls outside “location information” as defined by Korea's Act on the Protection and Use of Location Information (Article 2(1): information collected using telecommunications facilities).
